Overdose Awareness Day 2024 Walk

IOAD is a global event held on August 31st each year to remember those gone too soon from overdoses. The event allows us to commit to our goal of bringing awareness and working to prevent future overdose related deaths. Counseling Services of Lancaster is calling for anyone who has experienced a loss due to an overdose, anyone in recovery or anyone who wants to help bring awareness to IOAD and prevent future deaths related to an opioid overdose. This year's theme is "Together We Can". 

We are going to be walking together at the Greenway to remember those who suffered from an overdose. Registering for the event will secure a free t-shirt that you will get when you sign in at 7:30am and allow you to sign up to bring a photo/object  in rememberance of your loved one to be included on our social media page if you choose to do so.
