As we continue to monitor the latest developments with the 2019 novel coronavirus, called COVID-19, our first priority remains the health, safety and security of our clients, staff, and community.
We are taking a measured response to minimize risk and have made the following decisions about our services.
Beginning Monday, March 23rd, 2020 Counseling Services of Lancaster (CSL) will be closed for onsite services, however, staff members will be available via telehealth and/or cell phone at the office or by working remotely from home. We will be conducting appointments and keeping current clients connected with their counselor.
Telehealth technology allows individuals to meet with their counselors virtually, via a HIPAA-compliant connection, at least twice a week. CSL staff are committed to remaining responsive and flexible during this time, as we know many factors associated with this crisis are a source of extreme anxiety and isolation.
Narcan is available for clients and/or individuals who have a loved one in need to help reduce the risk of overdose from coming in contact with opioids. To obtain Narcan, contact CSL Monday-Thursday 9:00am - 5:00pm and Friday 9:00am - 4:00pm at 803-285-6911.
Medication Assisted Treatment “MAT” patients will be seen as scheduled by their providers. If there is an adjustment to a previously scheduled appointment, our MAT provider will be contacting patients directly.
Counseling Services of Lancaster’s leadership team is monitoring this situation daily. When circumstances regarding health and safety allow, we will resume onsite assessments, outpatient and intervention services, and begin accepting new clients again. When safe and feasible to do so, community outreach and prevention services will resume as well.
